After two enchanting nights in Portree, where we've immersed ourselves in the wonders of the Isle of Skye, it's time to bid farewell to this captivating island and head back towards Inverness for our final night in the Highlands. Leaving Portree behind, we embark on a leisurely journey back to the mainland, savoring the memories of our time spent exploring Skye's rugged landscapes, charming villages, and ancient ruins. Along the way, we may choose to make a few scenic stops to soak in the last glimpses of Skye's breathtaking beauty, perhaps pausing at iconic viewpoints or hidden gems we missed on our initial journey. As we approach Inverness, we can't help but feel a tinge of sadness at leaving behind the tranquility and majesty of the Highlands. Yet, we also carry with us a treasure trove of memories and experiences that will stay with us long after we've departed. Arriving back in Inverness, we check into our accommodation for the night, where we can unwind and reflect on our Highland adventure. ( Any entrances are paid locally)
